Cefas are seeking support from anglers to complete their survey to assess the economic importance of catch and release recreational fishery (CRRF) for tuna in the UK. D&S IFCA is helping to report this news, but is not otherwise involved.
Cefas envisage that the survey will help to understand the economic value of this fishery to ensure that its importance is considered in future policy decisions and to support recreational angling. The short online survey is about how much anglers have spent on their tuna fishing and Cefas need as many anglers as possible to complete the survey.
